12. Trolley to transport objects
Print

Stairclimber trolleys are also called trolleys to transport objects by those who don't know
them. This definition actually doesn't fully describe the peculiarities of such an effective tool.
(Click here if you don't know what a stairclimber is)
Stairclimbers can be used to transport different types of objects. On the market you can
usually find generic stairclimbers that can be adapted to the most common needs.
Mario Carrelli has chosen to diversify and devise stairclimbers that are not only effective
for different activities, but also dedicated to specific functions.

Mario has developed electric stairclimbers to:

  • transport small-size items such as cylinders , demijohns, and carboys
  • transport oxygen cylinders
  • transport boilers and air-conditioners
  • transport fireplaces, stoves, and photocopiers
  • transport furniture
  • transport household appliances
  • transport doors, armoured doors, and windows

Being a manufacturer, Mario can design customized stairclimbers suitable for any need.

13. What is a stairclimber?
Print

Transport and logistics are greatly enhanced by the use of stairclimbers.
Stairclimbers are transport trolleys equipped with mechanized revolving wheels that can go
up or down flights of stairs.
Stairclimbers can be manual or electric (equipped with a battery) and of different types.
For example, 2-wheel stairclimbers need particular organs to lift the trolley in order to go up
and down stairs.
6-wheel electric stairclimbers, instead, have wheels fitted on a triangular frame that allows
the engine to go up and down the stairs.
The advantage of this tool is in the balancing of the load and the subsequent reduction in the
weight to be carried by the operator's back, compared to a 2-wheel stairclimber.

14. What happens if I forget to switch off the stairclimber?
Print

NOTHING! Our 6-wheel stairclimbers turn automatically off after only 10 minutes of
inactivity

15. Does your stairclimber damage steps?
Print

Our stairclimbers are equipped with special tyres, produced with an exclusive soft material,
that leave no marks.
6-wheel stairclimbers only gently brush the step edge and can be used on wooden floors with
no fear.

16. Does your stairclimber damage floors?

Our stairclimbers are equipped with with special tyres, produced with an exclusive soft
material, that leave no marks.

17. Your stairclimbers are heavier, what does it entail?
Print

A greater weight means greater sturdiness of the device, totally made of steel and a larger
battery for longer continuous use without recharging. Moreover, our stairclimbers climb on
the vehicle, fully loaded, without being lifted by the operator, practically eliminating the
weight of the machine itself.

18. Are your stairclimbers approved?
Print

Our stairclimbers are approved and homologated with the CE mark and can be sold
throughout Europe.

19. Six-wheel stairclimbers – what are the advantages?
Print

6-wheel stairclimbers present several advantages compared to traditional 2-wheel ones, such as:

  • Greater protection for your back (lumbar area)
  • No load weight on your body
  • Greater load stability and safety
